We have just supplied new tools for offshore wind tower construction industry. Our new customer HWG will start its production with these new tools in next weeks.
These C hooks are designed to lift tower shells from 25 to 45 tons, these shells will be 2 to 4 meters length and a maximum diameter of 8,5mts. C hooks can lift not only the shell but the shell with the flange.
We have supplied also J hooks for whole tower sections till 150 tons to move whole sections and ship loading operations.

Slingsintt has developed and supplied the first unit of Hub support Tool. This element, which will be used in wind farms, will serve to increase the safety of the workers during the operations of cleaning and conditioning of the hub before its final lift. The capacity of this structure is 40 to 45 Tons. The bearing support is made on the inner face of the blade bearings. Transportable in a 20″ container because of its modular structure conditioned to the standard transports.

Next 19,20 and 21 April Slingsintt will be present at 5 international conference “Advances for Rotor Blades for Wind Turbines” that will take place in Bremen, Germany.
The director of R&D will represent Slingsintt into expert conferences in maintenance and design of blades and rotors. He will show the latest developments in lifting and transport maneouvres developed by Slingsintt.

Slingsintt renews its management system certification ISO 9001: 2008 in the areas of:
– Marketing and mechanical assembly of lifting elements.
– Design, manufacture and certification of lifting elements.

Both accreditations have been granted under the supervision of the National Accreditation Body (ENAC) and by the company DNV.
